Fandom blog for Doctor Who, Pokemon, Mana Khemia, and anything else I happen to be obsessed with. I also RP as Rue, Descender of Tarant.
"Hm? What are you talking about, Rue?"
"Augh. Okay. Quick version. When Widdershin tried to steal Terresia’s Mana, he wasn’t working alone. He had some jerk Lacey barely even remembered in Ailily, Kanonno was supposed to go to Doplund after attacking the Tree, and Aurora was here."
She double checks the windows and then returns to the explanation. “Aurora was far worse than Widdershin. He wanted to turn all the worlds into a single world without death; Aurora was helping him because it was fun to hurt people. She’s the reason the Aelderwood is so poisonous. And the reason she was so dangerous is because she made people believe. So when Lacey killed her, she left behind a whole pack of loyal minions just waiting for revenge.”
"And if you’ve forgotten, this is Harold’s place. You’re not the one they’re coming for, but you are the only person in this building who can’t drop a meteor on them.”
"So? I can still fight a bit. And technically, you’re not dropping a meteor if it’s not from space. It’s just a flaming rock." Adric pointed out. "And they don’t know I’m here, so why would they try and kill me? For all they know, I hated Lacey."
"You’re expecting them to behave rationally!" Rue takes a couple of deep breaths - no point snapping at Adric when the real problem is the loonies going after Harold and Harold’s retaliation.
"Besides… You’ve met Harold. I’m protecting you from whatever she decides to do as much as I am from the people going after her."
The young man walks among the crowded streets of the busy little town, not paying the citizens much mind as his eyes are buried in the journal pressed into his face. It foretold of a fated meeting with someone he supposedly knew, as the man had no memory of his life at all. Simply nothing. Perhaps this person was the one cherished above all others mentioned in its page, or maybe someone entirely new?
Thoughts completely entranced by D’s journal, Ringabel doesn’t notice the fated person before him as he oh so gracioisly collides with them.
"O-owwwww…" Obviously today is not Rue’s day - between Harold’s device dropping her Tree-only-knows-where and promptly exploding and now being almost bowled over while she was distracted, she’s quite impressively flustered.
"Can’t you watch where you’re…" Oh. Um. Hello. She’s not sure what she was expecting but the most magnificent pompadour she’s ever seen was definitely not on the list!
"Woooow…" She’s seen bats, even fought a few of them, but Daisuke is quite unlike any bat-monster she’s seen before. There an actual light of intelligence in his eyes for a start! "H-Hello, Daisuke…"
And of course Luke has to go and ruin the moment by falling out of the tree with a startled yelp. He’s such a silly~
Daisuke’s chittering sounds very like a laugh, as he begins swooping and dodging around Rue and Luke, too, inspecting them. He seems quite interested in Luke, for some reason, circling him several times.
Then there’s a shout; a woman’s voice, all relief and joy and amazement, calling "Mitsunari!" And a moment later, the owner of that voice comes running towards them, and all but crashing into Mitsunari in a truly impressive tacklehug. Small and slender, pixielike, with short auburn hair plastered damp against her head. She seems to have come from bathing, judging by that, and by her bare feet, and the hurried way her purple robe seems to have been thrown on.
Mitsunari-probably to Rue’s amazement-doesn’t flail or protest this hug. Instead, he outright clings back.
"Lady Nene." His voice is cracking, again. "I missed you."
Awwwww. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww. That is adorable and she cannot be convinced otherwise.
Luke dodges the curious Daisuke with a grumpy noise and wanders over to stand next to Rue, outright staring at Mitsunari and the hugging. “I thought he didn’t…”
"Shhhh!" He’ll interrupt the cute!
